Yoga is a vast concept which is very difficult to conclude. There are several classifications of yoga as per sacred geeta, namely, sankhya yoga, karm yoga, gyan yoga, bhakti yoga, ashtang yoga and many more.
Ashtang yoga is one of the well known yoga forms which involves 8 angs- yam , niyam, asan, pranayam , pratyahar, dharna, dhyan and samadhi. Maharshi patanjali is believed to be the pioneer of this form of yoga. Several ancient saints and sages have also promoted ashtang yoga.
